Community Access

The Ponteland Partnership is endowed with high quality facilities for sports, ICT and the arts. The core offer insists that these facilities become easier to access by the community, if there are no similar facilities.

Richard Coates developments

Richard Coates middle School now has a number of new changing rooms and a multi-use game area that are available for evening, weekend and holiday hire. To book contact the office at the school on 01661 823167. Plans are also being made to open up the Schools ICT facilities.

Ponteland Community High School currently offers adult education courses throughout the school year, as well as community use of their tennis courts, and sports hall.

The Ponteland Masterplan will also include some form of community hub, which would provide an excellent location for the extension of community provision.
